The next wave to crash into youth sports is the influence of media, primarily through the sources of podcasts, live streaming, and social media platforms. As LENZ expands to further its reach on the industry, we want to leverage our database, following, and resources to be on the front lines of media influence in youth sports. LENZ offers strategic investments in media platforms that are covering youth, travel, and high school sports.
Delco Baseball Now
February 4, 2025 - LENZ Sports Group announced today that they have strategically invested in local sports media platform, Delco Baseball Now. The Delaware County based platform covers baseball at all age levels around the Southeast Pennsylvania region. Delco Baseball Now was founded by Brendan Ricciardi and Ben Thorpe to provide premium coverage of youth and high school baseball in the Delaware County area. Between their team of writers and media personnel, they offer year round coverage of high schools, local little leagues, men's leagues, and baseball alumni from the area who are still playing professionally. DBN has recently gotten into live content as well, rolling out a podcast featuring previews of the high school seasons, as well as live streaming games.
The investment from LENZ will allow Delco Baseball Now to establish their live media division, expand their merchandising capabilities, and give exclusive access and coverage to all LENZ Sports Group events.
